What it's like to work with me
My biggest goal is to ensure my clients feel understood, cared for, and prepared as they implement their business strategy.

I personally manage and care for every one of my client projects. Even when I bring in other experts to partner with me (because, let's face it, we are meant to do it with others), I remain close to the work and always keep sight of the client's overall objectives. After all, my name is at stake.
My sweet spot
My super powers
My drivers
Working with organizations to implement business strategies that need a people lever.
My deep understanding of the business, culture, processes, and people that are in play when an organization is transforming and preparing the organization with a plan that makes it real.
Understanding my clients' business and building approaches that drive their bottom line through their people.
1
Initial Consultation
First, we'll meet, ideally in person, so I can understand your needs and we can get a feel for one another's vibe. I'll assess if I can help, and if I believe I can, I'll prepare an "Understanding of Needs and Approach" for you to review.

My projects vary from a one-time engagement, like a meeting facilitation, to more fulsome training or holistic design and execution of a people strategy or specific people programs. What's most important to me is it gets your business where you need to go!
2
Alignment and Approach
I'll share what I've heard about your needs and propose our approach. As a starting point, we'll meet to collaborate on the path and build alignment through deeper discussion. Depending on the scope of work, your needs, and the capabilities required, I may pull other experts in to play a role to give you exactly the right type and level of support you need to get optimal results.
3
Getting it Down on Paper
I'll draw up an agreement about what services I'll provide, how I'll do it, and when I'll do it. If your organization has other vendor requirements, we'll work through those, determine what access I may need to your documents and systems, and kick those things into gear.
4
Setting our Cadence
Establishing a clear communication schedule and process is the key to any collaborative project and successful change. Where relevant, we can create a detailed work plan with checkpoints, so you feel confident that you always know where we're at in the process and that we're progressing toward critical milestones. I use project management methods that give us visibility of the plan, where we are, and what's coming next.

As in life, projects tend to evolve over time and as we learn. My approach to your project may evolve as the work evolves and as we learn about one another. Project success hangs on the ability to flex and pivot when circumstances emerge and change. It's all about getting to the right answer while always maintaining mutual understanding through great communication.
I have had the pleasure of working with Maegen in many different capacities over the years, as a direct employee, as well as a consultant whom I sought out to help me tackle some key projects. She is fantastic to work with.
Maegen seeks to understand the business first, the objective, and then develops solutions to meet that business need. She is a strategic thinker and has the ability to effectively and efficiently turn strategy into action and deliver results. She is an excellent communicator, has the ability to work independently, and ensures that her client is kept informed and engaged appropriately. I would highly recommend Maegen to anyone who has a project they need to accomplish.
